The administrator is responsible for supporting the successful delivery and documentation of program initiatives, ensuring smooth operations, and assisting the CSLP Manager with administrative, scheduling, and communication tasks. This role is critical in promoting Grand Canyon University’s CSLP efforts within the community and fostering a culture of service.**What you will do:*** Serve as the coordinator for daily CSLP operations, communication, and scheduling.* Maintain up-to-date records of program participants, volunteers, and community partners.* Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and training of student workers.* Prepare, distribute, and collect materials for program activities, including educational resources and outreach communications.* Monitor and track CSLP student worker timesheets and program spending, collecting data for reporting and evaluation.* Assist the CSLP Manager with planning, logistics, and promotion.* Respond to inquiries from stakeholders (students, faculty, community partners) in a timely and professional manner.* Ensure compliance with university and program policies related to safety, confidentiality, and service learning.* Contribute to ongoing program improvement initiatives by offering suggestions and feedback.* Attend regular meetings with the CSLP Manager and participate in relevant training sessions.* Other duties as assigned.**What you will need:*** Bachelor’s degree required from a regionally accredited institution.* Demonstrated knowledge of a client-focused and problem-solving approach to working with colleagues.* Knowledge of planning and organizational practices to ensure smooth operations and to meet deadlines.* Strong public speaking skills with an ability to connect with diverse audiences.* Meticulous with a keen attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy while working on multiple projects at one time.* Outstanding communications skills, including verbal and written, with an excellent command of the English language.* Good relationship management skills and ability to work cohesively in a team and across diverse stakeholders demonstrating strong social and interpersonal skills.* Ability to thoroughly understand and abide by federal and university guidelines regarding student confidentiality requirements, especially regarding financial aid.* Ability to cope with changing priorities, rolling deadlines and a fast-paced environment effectively.* Capacity to handle sensitive situations with students who may require additional assistance if work study dollars are running low.* Ability to establish and maintain recordkeeping/databases systems, retrieve information, and prepare reports, graphs, charts, and metrics.* Must pass background investigation.* May occasionally work beyond normal business hours which may include evenings, weekends or holidays as needed.* Demonstrate through appropriate behavior, a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.**Why work at GCU:*** Exceptional workplace benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, a 401K savings plan* Generous time off plan and 11 paid holidays* Paid time off to volunteer in the community or at GCU sponsored events* Free covered parking* We also offer full-time employees, their spouses, and dependent children an Education Tuition Discount Program* Free on-site gyms on campus#INDLOPESUPGCU's Christian worldview has shaped the university's mission and growth for more than 65 years.
