Configuration Management Analyst

Credence has an immediate need for a Configuration Management Analyst to support the Army Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT) System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Program. The PM PNT program delivers administrative, business management, programmatic contracting, IT, program management, engineering, logistics, test & evaluation, training, operations, security, technology protection, foreign military sales, and acquisition and strategic planning services to the Army’s PNT systems.
Responsibilities
Provide engineering and analytical support for configuration management operations for each program.
Develop sections of configuration management plans, analyze processes, conduct in‑depth analysis, and develop measurements to monitor key phases of the configuration management process.
Organize, conduct, and manage the internal Configuration Control Board (CCB) process.
Develop essential CM‑related contractual requirements (SOW sections, CDRLs) to enforce CM principles between the PM and developers.
Create and/or maintain product‑level official document repositories.
Evaluate program artifacts and maintain an updated repository of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Request for Variances (RFVs) based on CCB outcomes.
Support the conduct of functional and physical configuration audits.
Support the conduct of engineering and technical assessments of program technical reviews.
Requirements
Active Secret‑level security clearance required.
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field with 7 years of experience, or master’s degree with 5 years of experience.
Strong knowledge of configuration management and CM principles (MIL‑Handbook 61B, GEIA 649‑1/649C preferred).
Experience supporting Army electronic equipment programs.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong technical‑writing expertise.
Excellent interpersonal, time‑management, and analytical skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Capability to develop program documentation and briefings, and coordinate review/approval processes.
Experience with ACAT‑level programs required.
Experience leveraging AI to streamline configuration management activities.
