HX5 is currently seeking an experienced Acquisition Logistician to support the Mobility Aircraft Program Office at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, Massachusetts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with coordinating all logistics elements including spares, Support Equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored.
Perform as key participant in developing long term weapon system supportability approaches that further the Government’s acquisition strategy goals and objectives.
Perform analyses of sustainment or related Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues and recommend suitable replacements.
Provide support to accomplish the generation and review of logistics support documentation that includes the following: Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Technical Orders (TOs), technical manuals, electronic technical manuals, illustrated parts breakdowns, and work specifications to ensure the documentation meets Government logistics support requirements.
Assist with planning, managing, and coordinating Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) for a fleet of aircraft. Integrate supply, procurement, maintenance, and quality assurance to field and sustain depot level and field level TCTOs.
Assist with developing, advising, and assessing the performance of work done at the depot or Contractor locations.
Education and Experience
High School with twenty (20) years of relevant experience and eight (8) years of DoD experience.
Bachelor’s Degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience and five (5) years of DoD experience.
Master’s degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience and five (5) years of DoD experience.
Salary This position is expected to pay $115,000-$120,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time on-site position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance by date of hire.
Must be able to travel, including air travel.
