Primary Responsibilities The Inventory Specialist is responsible for researching inventory discrepancies, running daily cycle‑count reports, keying in cycle‑count entries, confirming variances, making multiple inventory adjustments including RTS, investigating product shortages and monitoring inventory moves.

Essential Functions

Compiles data from purchase orders, invoices, and accounting reports and writes, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory records

Able to communicate with Procurement team and vendors to resolve product problems

Utilizes Voice‑Directed and/or an RF handheld unit to cycle count and research inventory variances

Utilizes fixed‑station computers to analyze, research, and adjust inventory variances

Operates material‑handling equipment to cycle count and research inventory variances

Other duties may be assigned, as needed or warranted, by management

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

High School diploma or GED required

Minimum of six months to one year related experience required

Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude

Knowledge of the WMiS system and TOLAS Inventory software

Proficient experience in Microsoft Word and Excel programs

Able to work with RF scan equipment

The associate is frequently required to stand, walk, and climb. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm. The associate is rarely exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise levels in the work environment are typically moderate to high.
