About the Role The Sr Project Manager is responsible for overseeing marketing and distribution initiatives. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of the POP and EDM music landscape, strong communication and coordination skills, and in‑depth knowledge of digital streaming and social media platforms.
This position will focus on developing and executing release strategies and marketing campaigns for emerging and established pop and electronic artists, primarily in the New York or Los Angeles markets.
As part of the ONErpm team, you will collaborate closely with A&R, marketing teams, lead data‑driven campaigns, and work with key partners to achieve strategic goals while providing cross‑functional support.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the planning, development, strategy and execution of artist projects/releases
Working closely with artists and their representatives to define marketing objectives
Executing marketing initiatives to build campaigns from the ground up
Overseeing campaign execution with a focus on audience development
Directing and managing creative processes for internal and external partnerships
Managing, interpreting and reporting on the performance of campaign initiatives in partnership with cross‑functional teams
Driving progressive marketing campaigns and inspiring innovation across the team with an eye toward building new processes to bring campaigns to life
Qualifications
Relevant marketing experience in music streaming through a major or independent label, entertainment company, DSP, management company, or comparable organization (typically 7+ years of experience)
Deep understanding of POP/EDM‑focused streaming strategies, playlisting, brand building, artist development, public relations, digital marketing, and social platforms
Proven ability to manage a high volume of communications, deadlines, and meetings
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly collaborative with a team‑oriented mindset
Creative problem‑solver with the ability to think outside the box
Working knowledge of analytics, streaming, and music marketing tools
