To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Missed Baggage Record (MBR) Allocation Analyst. The analyst role will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing tracer data for station MBR, maintaining live updated information throughout the shift, review baggage runner playbacks, and analyzing various resources for the Customer Operations team. The primary function of this role is to monitor station baggage information using existing and newly developed tools with an overall goal to support our leadership teams by providing information that will lead to station improvement and accountability. The successful candidate will hold an associate degree or certification in Information Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position reports to the Customer Operations Manager.
Essential Duties
Collect and review data for stations’ MBR improvement needs
Review of runner route playbacks
Review scanner and baggage belt data and other resources
Collaborate and assist leadership teams with information
Identify drivers for disproportionate changes in data outputs
Propose model adjustment plans and conduct comparative analysis
Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
Analyze and present data through reports that aid decision making
Work with users and team members at all levels for performance improvement and suggestions
Actively participate in our culture of continuous development and innovation by contributing ideas for new features and functionality
Job Qualifications and Competencies
Associate degree or certification in Information Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated aptitude for independent learning, logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Excellent writing and speaking skills
Outstanding organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Airline industry experience, including business process and supporting technology
Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
Experience in scheduling analysis, interpreting forecasts, and process improvement
Experience in Microsoft Power Platform or other business intelligence tools
Experience in Microsoft Excel Power Query
Basic programming skills or experience
Work Environment
Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk/stand
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

Starting Rate $18.18/Hourly
