Job Title: General Mechanic/Flight Operations Specialist (FA-18 E/F aircraft)

Job Description Perform maintenance operations on aircraft, aircraft equipment, engines, components, and systems in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, company, supplier, and other directives. Support aircraft modification and perform Airframe & Powerplant repairs, including potential Fuel Cell work.
Responsibilities
Remove, install, and rig flight controls.
Conduct CDI or CDQAR inspections, removal, installation, and functional checks.
Perform hydraulic component removal and installation.
Engage in depot disassembly and rebuilds.
Operate ground support equipment.
Perform aircraft component and assembly checkouts.
Document maintenance and repair actions clearly.
Order parts, tools, materials, and equipment as necessary.
Comply with all health and safety regulations.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in aircraft maintenance, depot level repair, and overhaul.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and technical manuals.
Skilled in using pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, and common hand tools.
Familiarity with large aircraft and components, such as airframe and powerplant.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to perform duties on all shifts and in varying environmental conditions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with flight line, ramp, and flight operations mechanics.
Capability to remove and replace panels, floorboards, and sealing compounds.
Proficient in documenting equipment status, logs, and parts requests.
Adherence to safety equipment protocols.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
