Schedule:
Days — This position is Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. Candidates must reside in California.
Purpose Statement/Position Summary:
The Quality Coordinator III provides advanced, ongoing support to medical staff and hospital departments in monitoring and improving the quality and safety of care delivered to patients and families. This role independently leads, facilitates, and manages complex quality and performance improvement initiatives, including patient safety activities, infection prevention support, accreditation readiness, and maintenance of the organization’s quality management plan and systems.
In addition, the coordinator brings subject-matter expertise in study design, data collection, analysis, aggregation, and visualization to support enterprise quality initiatives and the hospital’s quality strategic plan. This position serves as a Lean Six Sigma and project management content expert and coach for the PI Academy, supporting Medical Staff Divisions, nursing, and support services in their quality improvement (QI) and performance improvement (PI) efforts. The role regularly presents findings, recommendations, and project outcomes to medical staff, program leadership, and senior leadership in support of organizational priorities.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience; 7-10 preferred. Experience in Quality Improvement required. Experience working with physicians and other health care professionals. Experience with clinical, safety, and quality data, and cellular therapy product processing.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Master’s degree in health care, business or related field required. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred.
Pay Scale Information:
$84,302.00-$144,518.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
