$22.00 - $37.40 . Pay is based on several factors that vary by position, including labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

About Service & Engagement Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery. Advocates of both in-store and digital services, knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage, and ultimately guest loyalty.

Roles & Responsibilities

Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and creating equitable experiences.

Lead a team of Guest Advocates, Service Advocates, and Front‑of‑Store Attendants to exceed guest service expectations.

Encourage a culture of best‑practice execution and skill development through coaching and support.

Understand sales goals, business reporting, and guest insights to plan and execute daily/weekly workloads.

Support Target Loyalty Programs and educate team members on benefits and offers that reward guest engagement.

Support your direct leader by ensuring training completion and continuous education.

Engage in meaningful development conversations at critical touch points in the team’s career path.

Personalize recognition and appreciation to reinforce guest‑service behaviors.

Foster a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management.

Respond swiftly to guest concerns, de‑escalate and resolve issues, and support team members.

Keep the team updated on major promotions, launches, and events.

Evaluate candidates for open positions and build a guest‑centric team.

Work a schedule that aligns with guest and business needs, including early, evening, closing, overnight shifts, holidays, and weekends.

Support and enable efficient and accurate pickup and drive‑up orders, including Starbucks and drink compliance.

Champion ethical conduct and compliance, holding the team accountable.

Promote a safety culture through modeling, hazard identification, and incident response.

Create welcoming interactions by greeting guests during daily tasks.

Model physical security processes to enhance in‑store security culture.

Support merchandise protection strategies, including ordering, storage, and best‑practice application.

Follow all safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier if applicable.

Address emergency and compliance needs as they arise.

Perform all other duties based on business needs.

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years of age.

Previous retail experience preferred.

Lead and hold others accountable.

Effective communication on multiple devices; operate handheld scanners and other technology.

Engage independently and as part of a team; manage workload and prioritize tasks.

Welcoming, helpful attitude with strong communication skills.

Remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment, completing multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Access all building areas to respond to guest or team member issues.

Accurately handle cash register operations and oversee cash office processes.

Lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely; climb ladders as needed.

Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays with reliable attendance.

Handle varying temperatures and humidity during tasks such as Drive‑Up and carry‑out.

Remain mobile for the duration of the shift.
