Minor League Clubhouse and Equipment Assistant Manager
Seasonal, part‑time support for the Colorado Rockies’ clubhouse during Spring Training, extended training, in‑season, and post‑season periods. The role involves field setup and breakdown, laundry service, daily cleaning, stocking, and any additional duties needed to maintain a functional, clean environment for the team.
Position Summary The assistant manager works under the guidance of the Clubhouse Manager to ensure the facility runs smoothly throughout the month. Responsibilities include setting up and taking down fields, assisting with laundry distribution, cleaning the clubhouse and surrounding areas, and cleaning fields and dugouts after use.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prep fields for practice and games, including machine set‑up
Work scheduled games throughout the season
Assist with daily and post‑practice laundry distribution
Perform daily cleaning of the clubhouse, laundry room, and other building areas
Clean up fields and dugouts after practice
Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
High school diploma preferred
Ability to take directions, work independently, and work proactively
Previous clubhouse or related experience desired
Must be at least 18 years of age
Working Conditions and Schedule
Spring Training dates: February 23 – March 27 (possible extension)
Hours may be long, late, weekends, or holidays
Physical activity including lifting 50+ pounds and manual labor
In‑season and post‑season scheduling may be irregular based on team needs
Off‑season hours depend on tasks as needed
Salary Range
$15.15 per hour, eligible for overtime
This is a temporary, seasonal position; benefits are not available. The club offers a 401(k) with employer match, parking, employee discounts, and an employee assistance program, subject to eligibility and plan terms.
