The Department of Public Health Sciences, Penn State Tobacco Center of Regulatory Science at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar. This position will support projects funded by the NIH/FDA and led by Dr. Zachary Bitzer. The scholar's primary responsibilities will be investigating the health effects of free radical and toxicant production from electronic cigarettes. The experimental approaches will range from in vitro chemistry to animal models and human research. Responsibilities

Investigate the health effects of free radical and toxicant production from electronic cigarettes. Use in vitro chemistry, animal models, and human research to support projects funded by the NIH/FDA. Qualifications

Doctoral degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field. Skills in analytical chemistry method development (e.g., HPLC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS). Prior experience in assays of tobacco toxicant exposure is encouraged but not required. Benefits
