Job Overview
Job Appointment: Full-Time
Work Schedule: Mon‑Fri, 8 am‑4:30 pm (alternate schedules may be available)
Work Location: 6543 N Burlington Ave, Portland, OR 97203 (hybrid position, 50% telework)

What you’ll get to do
Research and document property operator and onsite drainage information, along with prior BES interactions with industrial and commercial businesses in select Columbia Slough City stormwater outfall basins.
Assist with inspecting industrial and commercial businesses to identify environmental concerns and non‑compliance associated with stormwater discharges and document inspection findings during and after site inspections.
Conduct outreach to regulated businesses regarding their stormwater discharge requirements.
Review environmental surveys submitted by businesses to determine the applicability of stormwater discharge regulations.
Take meeting notes to capture key discussions, decisions, and action items.
Ideal candidate
A passion for environmental protection.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Desire to perform work in the field.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills.
Additional Requirements
Driver’s license is required.
