Arts Program Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Arts Program Manager to join our team and lead our organization in delivering high-quality arts programming for youth and adults. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the arts and experience of successful arts management. If you are a creative problem-solver, excellent communicator, and experienced leader, we want to hear from you.
Arts Manager Responsibilities & Duties
Develop and implement arts programs and initiatives that meet the needs of the organization and its stakeholders
Create an ambitious summer youth art program that can be adapted into afterschool programs in the fall
Plan and organize art classes for adults
Manage the day-to-day program operations including budgeting, scheduling, and instructor supervision
Report on the status of arts programs and initiatives to the Executive Director
Arts Manager Qualifications
Associates or higher degree in arts management, business administration, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in arts management or a related field
Strong financial management skills, including budget preparation and management
Experience in developing and implementing arts programs and initiatives
Ability to work effectively with artists, arts organizations, and the community
Skills
Communication: Excellent written & verbal skills for artists, partners, and the public.
Organization: Strong time management ability, multitasking, and attention to detail.
Budgeting: Basic knowledge of budget management.
Attributes: Self‑motivated, collaborative, passion for the arts, proactive, and community focused.
Hours and Wages 20 hours per week/ $25 hour
