Position Overview
The Physics Department at Hamilton College invites applications for multiple visiting positions at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor beginning July 1, 2026. Candidates will teach introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels in both classroom and laboratory settings. Responsibilities
Teach five courses per year, supervise senior research projects, and contribute to a diverse learning community that values academic freedom and intellectual curiosity. Qualifications
A PhD in Physics or related field is required. The expected 9‑month base salary range is $77,900 to $80,400.
