Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level Associate Attorney to join our Seattle or Tacoma office. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or newly licensed attorney who is looking to gain broad experience and grow within a reputable and collegial firm. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced attorneys on a wide range of matters and will have the opportunity to develop skills across multiple practice areas.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct legal research, drafting, and analysis in support of litigation and transactional matters
Prepare pleadings, motions, contracts, memoranda, and other legal documents
Participate in client meetings, court appearances, and depositions (with appropriate mentorship and supervision)
Collaborate with attorneys and staff across practice groups
Manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain accurate records
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties
Minimum Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar, or the ability to become licensed within a reasonable time
0–2 years of relevant legal experience (internships, clerkships, or clinical experience may be considered)
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Professionalism, reliability, and a desire to learn
Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated interest or background in one or more of the firm’s core practice areas
Law review, moot court, or other notable academic or extracurricular accomplishments
Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
Previous experience in a law firm or legal office setting
