Territory Manager (Bowel Care) - Midwest Location: Minneapolis, MN, US; Chicago, IL, US

The Continence Care Territory Manager is responsible for achieving territory sales objectives through cultivating business partnerships with key decision makers, product in-services, and driving market share and sales growth. The Territory Manager will target key customers by selling and servicing Coloplast’s portfolio of Continence Care products. Candidates residing in Minneapolis or Indianapolis will also be considered.

Major Areas of Accountability Business Acumen

Effectively engage all targeted accounts and develop a clear plan to achieve overall territory sales objectives.

Implement strategies to maximize territory and company objectives, including analyzing key sales and marketing data to identify leverageable opportunities.

Understand the customer’s environment and key decision makers, their concerns, and opportunities for Coloplast.

Advance the sale process to achieve or exceed the annual minimum required contract commitments.

Conduct cost/benefit analysis based on financial business models.

Selling Skills

Demonstrate consultative selling skills to uncover customer strategy and present value propositions with financial and clinical impact.

Plan daily call routines to ensure appropriate coverage of key accounts.

Utilize available tools to maximize sales growth, including GPO, IDN contracts, marketing directives, sales reports, and educational materials.

Maintain awareness of competitive activity and sales volume in each targeted account.

Relationship Building

Retain and grow business within the current customer base by identifying opportunities and formulating sales strategies.

Develop and maintain long-term relationships that increase product use within target accounts.

Share knowledge and leverage synergies within the organization through productive cross‑functional relationships.

Clinical Knowledge and Self Development

Clear understanding of clinical and technical product knowledge.

Strong awareness of competitive activity, products, current market trends, and industry information.

Attend industry meetings and events for business development opportunities, such as trade shows and CMSA meetings.

Administrative

Organize and manage information utilizing CRM tools as directed.

Maintain current records and administrative duties, including sales reporting and expense management.

Essential Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of med tech sales experience, OR

2‑year associate degree with 5+ years of med tech sales experience, OR

7+ years of med tech sales experience

Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight—25%–50%

Valid driver’s license required.

Completion of credentialing requirements to access healthcare facilities.

Commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards, compliance with applicable laws, the Advamed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, and company policies.
