Description
RV Service Technician
We are seeking an RV Service Technician to join our growing service team. This is a flat-rate position (hourly training to start) ideal for a motivated technician who takes pride in productivity, quality workmanship, and efficiency.
RV experience is preferred, but technicians with backgrounds in any of the following fields are encouraged to apply :
General maintenance
Automotive repair
HVAC
Plumbing
Refrigeration
Electrical
Carpentry
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair RV systems including:
Electrical (12V & 120V)
Plumbing & water systems
Appliances
HVAC
Structural and interior components
Complete work efficiently under flat-rate guidelines
Accurately document labor and repairs on work orders
Communicate clearly with Service Writers regarding findings and recommendations
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards
Requirements
Job Requirements
Previous RV, automotive, or related technical experience
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and quality
Self-motivated with a productivity mindset
Basic computer or tablet skills for work orders
Excellent communication skills.
Able to work under pressure.
On-Site / Road Service Requirements
Ability and willingness to
travel to customer locations
for on-site service calls
Comfortable working independently in campgrounds, storage facilities, and customer properties
Ability to safely set up and break down work areas on-site
Professional interaction with customers while representing the dealership
Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs without immediate shop support
Proper documentation of work performed and parts used while in the field
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in an organized and professional manner
Valid driver’s license required
Clean driving record required
Must be willing to work
over the road and travel
as needed
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
On-Site season is "camping season" only, remainder of time spent in dealership.
Technician pay is flat-rate + travel time along with, great benefits, which include, medical, vision, and dental insurance, a company sponsored 401k retirement plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
