Summary of Responsibilities
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling High Purity Distribution and CTW Solutions products, repair and engineering services to achieve sales targets and revenue goals. This role requires responding to customer-specific needs with appropriate technical solutions, delivering world‑class customer service, and developing new and existing relationships to expand SemiTorr's presence within the assigned territory.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Manage assigned territory covering Semiconductor fabs and related customers for all applicable products and services.
Call on equipment and process engineers at end‑user fab locations to promote equipment and engineering solutions, primarily within cleanroom environments and around wafer processing tools.
Develop a strong understanding of semiconductor fab operations, including process requirements and budget constraints.
Demonstrate working knowledge of semiconductor processes and equipment, including Ion Implantation, Etch, CVD, PVD, RTP, ALD, and supporting infrastructure.
Leverage prior experience selling equipment into semiconductor fabs, with understanding of process technologies and node‑specific requirements.
Utilize existing customer and industry relationships within the territory.
Maintain accurate opportunity and project tracking within the CRM system.
Independently manage sales activities and territory planning.
Actively pursue new business opportunities with a strong, result‑driven sales approach.
Develop and maintain long‑term customer relationships across a broad portfolio of semiconductor‑related product lines.
Forecast sales activity and evaluate market conditions to identify new products and market opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with point‑of‑sale (POS), consultative selling, or solution‑selling methodologies.
Strong understanding of customer business needs and value‑based selling.
Familiarity with SemiTorr product lines and core customer base preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is typically required.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience; certifications may be required for certain product areas.
Environmental and Physical Requirements
Work is typically performed in a professional office or customer‑site environment; adherence to semiconductor cleanroom protocols and safety standards is required.
Position requires periodic physical activity, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering materials or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward, within highly controlled cleanroom environments.
