What We're Looking For
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. 2‑Year / Associate Degree preferred. Certification Program in lieu of Associate Degree accepted. Graduate from a formal Cardiovascular Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs is preferred.
Experience: Two years of echocardiography experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Registered Cardiac Sonographer – credentials RDCS or RCS required. New graduates have 6 months to pass registry.
Additional Skills: Ability to complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing; knowledge and skills to modify care according to patient age; interpret information to identify patient requirements; strong verbal communication with nursing staff, physicians, and other department staff.
What You’ll Do
Perform echocardiography studies and stress ECHO tests, recognizing, calculating, interpreting, and analyzing hemodynamic data.
Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other team members to communicate observations and input related to patient care.
Support a safe patient environment in line with the "First Do No Harm" principles.
Participate in team‑building, member engagement, and community involvement activities.
