Vibration Analysis Technician
for full-time work in St. Paul, MN. This opportunity offers full benefits but does not include per diem. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to support our predictive maintenance program through vibration data collection and advanced analysis.
Position Vibration Technician will perform electrical tests and vibration analysis using various portable electronic equipment, field balancing, laser alignments, installing and removal of electric motors and other electro-mechanical equipment, and interpret and ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures.
Functional Requirements
Perform vibration data collection routes using Emerson AMS 2140 and Emerson Machinery Health Manager (MHM); conduct high-level analysis and generate detailed reports.
Collaborate with plant personnel and reliability teams to ensure asset health and integrity.
Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures; dismantle machines; move machinery and equipment.
Assemble and install equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, pumps, compressors, extruders, turbines and blowers; align machines and equipment using reverse alignment method.
Assemble machines and bolts, welds, rivets or otherwise fasten them to foundations or other structures.
May operate engine lathe to grind, file and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications; may repair and lubricate machines and equipment; may be involved in grouting activity for equipment base plates.
Qualification Standards
ISO 10816 certification required
Experience with Emerson AMS 2140 and MHM software strongly preferred
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data trends
Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
Compensation Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
