Security Officer - 2nd Shift (Security) Job Title: Security Officer

The award-winning Grand over Resort and Spa is currently accepting applications for a Security Officer 2nd Shift position.

Responsibilities

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of guests, employees and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. Bag Checks upon entrance and exit of building. Maintain logs of property that is taken in and out of the premises.

Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft or presence of unauthorized persons.

Circulate and engage with visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.

Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.

Answering telephone calls to take messages, request, answer questions, and provide information during all business hours, while maintaining an accurate log of these activities.

Monitor security cameras and alarm systems.

Assist with Shipping & Receiving (incoming and distribution within hotel) when manager is not working.

Respond to emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fire alarms, and bomb threats. This includes dispatching for Emergency Medical Services, Police and completing Incident Reports.

Assist hotel guests with directions or any other inquiries they may have.

o This includes Bellman work (luggage assistance, valet, airport shuttles, and shuttles for other company employees).

o Also, room service request after the kitchen closes Night Owl dishes are delivered.

Enforcing and upholding Koury Corporations company policies and directives.
