Field Service Technician
Vantage Point is a Telecommunications Consulting and Engineering firm, seeking
full-time
Field Service Technicians.
PLEASE NOTE: Position requires a high degree of travel.
We invite experienced technicians as well as trainees to apply.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Installation and termination of low voltage cabling
Residential and Commercial network electronics wiring and troubleshooting
Material management
Travel
Good communication skills to discern customer/client needs
Verify installed service by testing of equipment and cabling
Perform troubleshooting & strive to resolve issues
Conduct customer contacts completing site surveys
Willingness to learn and perform various duties with Outside Plant
Qualifications and Skills:
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Organizational skills
Mechanical skills
Effective communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
Basic knowledge of telecommunications industry and/or home construction is a plus, but not required
Understand and operate technology and applications such as Microsoft Office 360, Smartsheet, and various devise applications
