SUMMARY In collaboration with the Vice President of Domestic & Sexual Violence, provides administrative and clinical supervision to DV/SA therapists and interns in their day-to-day processes and job responsibilities.

Responsible for managing the individual and group counseling waitlists for the domestic and sexual violence programs, following up with clients, and evaluating ways to provide support and resources to clients until service is coordinated.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to hiring and training staff/interns; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance, providing coaching and development, addressing concerns and resolving problems, and completing administrative documentation.

Responsible for waitlist management and coordination of case assignments. Develops and monitors the effectiveness of the system and recommends changes to process. Measures results.

Participates in planning process with VP of DV/SA services in regard to program development, work-flows, policies and procedures, resource deployment, utilization and community linkages.

Develops, updates, and maintains DV/SA policy and procedures. Ensures that current standards reflect appropriate practices related to ICADV, ICASA, ethical and legal standards.

Monitors quality and compliance within the electronic health record and with funding sources and administrative tasks.

Participates in the quarterly utilization review with VP and facilitates individual utilization reviews during individual supervision.

Expands service provision through development of a Masters level student intern program to provide clinical services for therapy clients

Provides necessary guidance and clinical supervision for staff who are seeking clinical licensure.

Provides weekly individual to bi-monthly supervision to DV and SA Therapists depending on individual therapist's skill level and experience.

Provides crisis support to DV and SA therapists and clients as needed (Crises should take priority over regular sessions). Assists with on-site crisis intervention and coverage for consultation of issues.

Participates in regular with VP of DV/SA services to review and evaluate overall staff and program performance goals and objectives.

Maintains a small client caseload; provides individual, family, or group therapy to a caseload of clients as determined by program needs.

Ensures completion of all clinical required paperwork and documentation for all clients.

Participates in department, program, line of service, and organizational meetings, as required.

Responsible for completing position and organizational required trainings, and staying informed of all policies, procedures and regulations which apply to the position.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field required. 2 years of experience in providing trauma-informed social work or counseling required. Experience working with clients/survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault experience preferred.

LCSW/LCPC required. Licensure eligibility will be considered if licensure can be obtained within 1-3 months of starting in the position. Illinois 60-hour Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Training preferred. Experience in a supervisory or leadership role highly preferred.

OTHER Valid IL driver's license and personal vehicle needed for transportation to/from office locations. Mileage for authorized work-related purposes is reimbursable

PAY & BENEFIT INFORMATION $62,000-$75,000*

* Wage is based on one's experience, qualifications, whether they are clinically licensed, and bilingual language skills as compared with our position requirements and other similar employees within the organization.
