Operations Manager (Non-Complex) – Walmart
Base Pay Range:
$65,000.00/yr – $80,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Initiates, directs, and participates in community outreach programs by encouraging and supporting associates and managers to serve as good citizens, establish and maintain relationships with key individuals or groups in the community, and represent Walmart to external organizations.
Maintains compliance with company policies and procedures, holds hourly associates accountable, analyzes and interprets reports, implements and monitors asset protection and safety controls, and maintains quality assurance standards.
Oversees safety and operational reviews, develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies, and provides direction and guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and actively listening, assigning duties, evaluating performance, and recognizing achievements.
Promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace and delivers tours to teach feedback to ensure business goals are achieved.
Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, manages and supports customer service initiatives, and ensures customer needs and complaints are resolved.
Assists store manager in driving the financial performance of the facility by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, controlling expenses, developing corrective plans, and analyzing economic trends and community needs for budgeting.
Coordinates and oversees job‑related activities and assignments through developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifies goals and objectives, builds accountability for measuring progress, and addresses improvement opportunities with adaptability.
Ensures compliance with company policies and supports mission, values, and ethics by implementing action plans and utilizing the Open Door Policy.
Builds high‑performing teams, embraces diversity, creates a culture of belonging, and provides opportunities for all associates to thrive.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of college; OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership, experience supervising 5+ direct reports with responsibility for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
