The Transloader is a critical member of Quality Carrier's team. This position will load chemicals into trailers and restock chemicals. Ideal candidate will have good mechanical aptitude, hold no fear of heights, and have the ability to climb tanks 34' tall and railcars 15' tall.
Essential Functions of the Transloader:
Load chemicals into truck/trailers for shipments
Restock chemical inventory into storage tanks from railcars, trucks and trailers
Other duties as assigned
High school or GED required
Skill/Knowledge Preferred for Transloader:
Transportation/tanker industry experience
Experience within the oil and gas or chemical industry
Ability to work outside year round
Strong safety awareness
Strong mechanical aptitude
Good communication skills and great people skills
Understanding equipment utilization
Knowledge of DOT and applicable federal regulation
Salary:
$24.00-$27.00 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and more. We offer competitive wages and employee benefits (flexible spending accounts, generous paid time off/holiday schedule, in addition to medical, dental and vision plans).
