Work Location & Shifts: 2689 US-522, Selinsgrove, PA 17870. Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, overtime as needed.

Pay: The hourly pay rate for this position is $19.00/hour + benefits. This information is specific to Selinsgrove, PA and may not be applicable to other locations.

What your day in this role might involve at OC-BWI Distribution: The Paint Sprayer is an integral part of our production team, involved in daily processes and successful outcomes for our facility and its customers. This position works closely with teammates at multiple levels in customizing product, per specs, in preparation for shipment.

Operate paint spraying equipment to apply finishes to interior and exterior doors and parts

Conduct pre-checks and routine maintenance on spray equipment, including airless pumps and HVLP sprayers.

Read and interpret work orders to determine specifications such as color, size, and type.

Verify accuracy of parts and materials before beginning work.

Perform visual and quality inspections before and after spraying.

Mix paint and transfer paint from large to small containers as required.

Move doors onto conveyor systems and into ovens for curing.

Collaborate with team members to handle and flip doors to spray all sides

Support material preparation tasks as needed

Handle surface preparation chemicals, paint, and unframed glass units safely

Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Help with door repairs and general housekeeping

Maintain an adequate level of product knowledge

Move components and materials safely and report issues to leadership

Wear PPE such as composite/steel toed shoes, safety glasses, earplugs, gloves (per job function), and high visibility clothing.

Must be at least 18 Years Old

Work safely and follow all plant rules

Show initiative, be a self-starter

Communicate, in English, in a clear and effective manner

Ability to multi-task

Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have end of shift flexibility

Read a tape measure and do basic math

Would be terrific if you also had…

Preferably one year experience in a manufacturing setting

Physical Requirements

Stand for 8 - 10 hours straight

Climb and descend stairs/ladder as needed for the role

Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull 50-pounds)

Withstand exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable

Handle, control and feel raw materials and finished goods
