The Technician will specialize in the production, compounding, and quality assurance of liquid flavors for food, beverage, and related industries. This role involves hands‑on operation of mixing equipment, precise formulation of liquid batches, and ensuring all products meet stringent quality, safety, and regulatory standards, including GMP and FDA guidelines. MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS
Prepare and compound liquid flavor batches by accurately weighing, measuring, and blending raw materials (such as essential oils, extracts, emulsions, and solvents) according to detailed formulas and batch sheets. Operate specialized equipment including mixers, homogenizers, agitators, pumps, and filling lines for liquid compounding and processing. Assist with inventory management, including staging materials, monitoring stock levels, and reporting shortages. Maintain detailed records of batches, including lot numbers, ingredient codes, weights, and production data. Clean and sanitize equipment, work areas, and tools in accordance with sanitation procedures and GMP standards. Perform assigned tasks according to food safety policies outlined by SQF, HACCP, and SOP documents. Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to hazard communication standards. Package and label finished liquid flavors for quality testing, customer samples, or shipment. Support scale‑up from lab to production, process optimizations, and training of junior staff. Other duties and functions may be assigned. *MUST BE WILLING TO TRAIN IN THE MORNINGS FOR A MONTH.
