*Pay Range:* $23 - $26 per hour + $3 shift differential *Schedule:* Monday – Friday | 2:00pm – 12:30am**Join Our Team!**Papillion Sanitation is looking for a **safety-conscious Preventative Maintenance Mechanic** to join our growing team! This role is crucial in keeping our fleet running efficiently and safely by performing scheduled maintenance and inspections on our vehicles and equipment. **We offer competitive pay, excellent benefits, and career growth opportunities!****What You’ll Do:*** Perform **routine maintenance and inspections** on trucks and equipment* Conduct **oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and lubrication*** Inspect **brakes, fluid levels, belts, hoses, and other key components*** Identify **potential issues** and report necessary repairs to the lead mechanic* Maintain accurate **service records and reports*** Keep work areas **clean and organized** in compliance with safety regulations* Assist with **minor repairs** and support the mechanic team as needed**What We’re Looking For:** Basic knowledge of **automotive/diesel maintenance and repair**
Experience with **preventative maintenance procedures**
Ability to **lift up to 50 lbs** and work in various weather conditions
Strong **attention to detail and problem-solving skills**
Basic knowledge of **tools, equipment, and safety procedures**
**Hydraulic experience** is a plus
A valid **driver’s license** (CDL is a plus but not required) **Competitive Pay & Bonuses**
