Position Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) at a state correctional facility in Maury, North Carolina.
Health Advocates Network is seeking an RN to provide professional nursing care in this role.
Pay & Benefits Pay Rate:
$55 per hour

Shifts Available:
12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Minimum Requirements
At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
A valid and current RN license issued by the State of North Carolina.
A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association).
Proficiency in the English language for communication with staff and patients (oral and written).
Job Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care/treatment to patients in accordance with medical protocols, written policies and procedures, and the NC Board of Nursing scope of practice.
Conduct sick call/assessment.
Assist the physician.
Carry out orders, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Respond to medical emergencies.
Monitor patients for communicable diseases.
Counsel patients for compliance with diet, medications, and treatment.
Respond to inquiries, manage medical appointments, order medications and supplies, and perform additional nursing care duties as required.
