Position Overview
The West Virginia University School of Medicine – Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry – is seeking a Developmental-Behavioral Physician (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor). The successful candidate will practice primarily in Morgantown, WV, with opportunities to provide services at WVU Hospitals, Inc., WVU Medical Corporation and additional affiliated hospitals in West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Travel is anticipated and expected to fulfill duties at these other worksites.
Responsibilities
Practice in the areas of developmental-behavioral pediatrics.
Provide excellent patient care.
Actively involve in teaching medical students, residents and fellows.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree (foreign equivalent) eligible for state medical license.
Completed a pediatrics residency program and a developmental-behavioral fellowship program.
Board certified or eligible in developmental-behavioral pediatrics.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Opportunities
Develop new research initiatives or collaborate with existing programs that cross a broad spectrum of developmental-behavioral pediatric areas.
