Chemistry Laboratory Technician - Richmond, Virginia

Job Description The Chemistry Laboratory Technician provides hands‑on technical support for formulators in areas such as ATF, Gear, Off‑Road, and MTF, with additional assistance to the Customer Technical Service (CTS) team as needed. This role is crucial for ensuring precise formulation work, dependable testing, and seamless operation of vital laboratory processes.
Responsibilities
Provide laboratory support for ATF, Gear, Off‑Road, and MTF formulators.
Support the CTS team as required.
Accurately weigh chemical components and blend fluids related to ATF, Gear, Off‑Road, and MTF chemistries.
Conduct and schedule analytical and bench testing.
Maintain critical laboratory equipment.
Adhere to corporate safety and ISO 9001 guidelines.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
1 year of laboratory experience preferred.
Proficiency in chemistry and laboratory practices.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work at a fast pace.
Work Environment The role involves direct work in the lab with samples and also provides a personal office space. The company offers a great benefits package, and encourages upward movement, with many employees progressing from entry‑level positions to leadership roles.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
