Job Summary Operates gasoline‑, liquefied‑gas‑, or electric‑powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit‑down, stand‑up, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in a distribution center or storage yard.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment; maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Inspect assigned equipment daily and operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.

Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations; efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas.

Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped.

Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.

Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; report quality variances.

Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee tight inventory control and security; assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation.

Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy of load count, stability of product, and safe loading and unloading.

Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation, and Maintenance.

Perform good housekeeping practices and follow a clean‑as‑you‑go process.

Operate equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can’t be self‑corrected to leadership.

Follow corporate and site‑specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report non‑compliance when observed.

Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule Monday‑Friday: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm

Hourly Rate $19.00

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be able to successfully complete post‑hire assessments.

Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g., OSHA, company, etc.).

Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g., protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies.
