Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown

Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 per week (12‑hour shifts)

Unit Details
24‑bed monitored flex unit
Staffing ratios: 1:4 or 1:5 RN to patient
Primary population: Postoperative cardiac, thoracic and vascular patients
Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Nursing, Associate in Nursing, or higher (Bachelor's preferred).
Greater than 1 year of nursing experience required.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
Compensation Package
Base pay: up to $63/hour.
1.5x base hourly rate for overtime (over 40 hours) and holiday pay.
Additional $3.00/hour for stand‑by pay and $2.00/hour for charge/preceptor pay.
