Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered NurseJob Description
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, supervising, and evaluating the nursing care of patients while correlating the nursing process with the medical plan of care and hospital policies. This role is specific to a Labor and Delivery Nurse in a hospital setting with 12 L&D beds and a 2 to 1 patient ratio.
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, supervise, and evaluate the nursing care of patients.
Correlate the nursing process with the medical plan of care and hospital policies.
Provide exceptional patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting.
Essential Skills
Labor and delivery experience
Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing
Current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse
Current certification in CPR and Fetal Monitoring
Ability to obtain NRP and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
Additional Skills & Qualifications
At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in labor and delivery
Work Environment
This position operates within a full-service 180-bed hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state‑of‑the‑art technology. The hospital is situated in a friendly community setting and is nationally recognized for patient safety. The role requires working 12‑hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM with rotating weekends.
Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75,000.00 - $90,000.00/yr.
Company benefits - active first day of the month after 30 days of employment
Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Tulsa, OK.
