Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. 3–5 years of experience as an athletic trainer. BOC certified; current CPR/AED certification. Preferred: NATA membership, 2+ years athletic‑training experience, experience with collegiate student‑athletes. Responsibilities
Assist with organization and supervision of student‑athletes in all sports. Conduct pre‑participation physical examinations and related paperwork. Maintain accurate injury/illness reports, reconditioning updates, and medical correspondence. Administer athletic insurance and follow up with the coordinator. Apply evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation techniques for student‑athletes. Refer injured or sick athletes to the Team Physician and other Westcliff staff. Maintain athletic training facilities and equipment in a safe and sanitary condition. Follow up‑to‑date concussion, heat illness, and emergency action protocols. Collaborate with coaches, sports‑medicine staff, team physicians, and academic staff. Report to: Director of Athletics and Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Medicine. Working Conditions
Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 80 lbs, and rotating between indoor and outdoor environments. Occasional travel (approx. 20–30%) to off‑campus sites is required. EEO Statement
