If you like variety, this job gives you both: you'll inspect, fill, and load propane cylinders, and you'll also step in on deliveries when the team needs an extra hand. You'll need (or be willing to get a CDL A or B with hazmat and tanker, be comfortable lifting heavy cylinders, and be the kind of person who can work independently and get the job done right.
Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
Inspects, repairs, fills and loads cylinders.
Handles and maintains flow of materials and products under safety guidelines.
Scrape and paint cylinders and tanks as needed.
Maintains service center office, plant and yard for a professional appearance.
Promotes safety and customer satisfaction.
Based on business needs and qualifications, the Material Handler‑DOT would also be required to:
Load, secure, transport, delivery, and unload propane to and from specified destinations.
Follow DOT related safety procedures including safety inspections on equipment, supplies, and vehicles.
Ensures all DOT requirements are always met.
Performs responsibilities in on‑call rotation for after‑hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1+ years’ of related work experience.
At least 21 years of age.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
Must pass background check and drug screen.
Genuine commitment to providing superior customer service.
Class A or B CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred or willingness and ability to obtain license in a quick and timely manner.
Ability to pass DOT physical and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check.
Must be a citizen or national of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
