The Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Compensation and Pension (C&P) performs focused clinical assessments, reviews medical records, and provides objective medical opinions within the scope of C&P evaluations. The NP also conducts Military Environmental Exposure evaluations and counsels veterans on potential health risks associated with these exposures. The NP practices to the full extent of their education, training, and certification in this evaluative role.
