Job Summary The Registered Nurse - ICU provides comprehensive nursing care to acutely and critically ill patients within the Intensive Care Unit. This role is responsible for implementing patient care plans, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a fast‑paced critical care environment.

Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to critically and acutely ill patients in the ICU.
Implement, monitor, and evaluate individualized medical care plans.
Continuously assess patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
Direct and supervise nursing personnel assigned to patient care activities.
Maintain standard unit operations in the absence of the Head Nurse, as required.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state license or compact license, as applicable).
Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Required.
Preferred Certification: CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) – Preferred, not required.
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a high‑acuity environment.
Traveler ICU RN experience preferred.
