Cardiac Sonographer - PRN - Ardmore, OK
Cardiac Sonographer (PRN) provides on-demand echo imaging services to hospitals and health systems in the Ardmore, OK area. You will perform diagnostic echo procedures in an ER and acute care environment, collaborate with radiologists, and maintain high quality patient care while supporting flexible scheduling and competitive pay.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate proficiency in medical diagnostic imaging equipment.
Perform a wide range of echo imaging procedures, primarily in an ER environment.
Communicate pertinent clinical information and findings to the radiologist.
Provide excellent patient care and maintain rapport with patients and hospital staff.
Utilize systems such as PACS and EMR to enter and retrieve patient data.
Requirements
Minimum one (1) year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedures.
Current ARDMS - RDCS certification.
Demonstrate professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
Self-directed, organized, and able to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Must be able to pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screening and background check.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50–100 lbs., including patients, portable equipment, and positioning tools.
Physical agility to bend, twist, and reposition as needed.
Endurance for prolonged standing, walking, and multiple back-to-back procedures.
