General Summary Perform a variety of nursing duties in caring for patients from minor treatment to acutely ill in a free‑standing outpatient facility. Provide easy access unscheduled care, aim to reduce ER visits and admissions, and deliver high‑quality care efficiently.

Essential Duties

Complete orders for patients ranging from minor treatment to acutely ill.

Perform accurate triages and discharges of patients of all ages and identify those with critical needs.

Manage medications: administration, record maintenance, and storage.

Accurately input patient discharge instructions and prescriptions into computer software.

Provide quality splinting, dressing applications, and wound care.

Perform EKG and cardiac monitoring with recognition of arrhythmias.

Prepare procedures per organizational protocols (e.g., I & D, suture, pelvic, lumbar puncture, chest tubes).

Communicate positively with all team members and patients.

Delegate duties to PCCs, lab staff, and radiology staff.

Initiate Pre‑MD evaluation orders to expedite patient care.

Use organizational software to reference old patient records and protocols.

Support the Facility Leader (FL) and Nurse Operations Manager (NOM) as a positive team player.

Follow information security policies and management system, reporting on performance.

Qualifications

Active Florida RN License or compact RN license authorized to practice in Florida. Must convert to Florida license within 60 days of hire.

3 years of nursing experience required; less than 3 years may be considered with internal recommendation.

3 years’ experience in ER setting highly preferred. Minimum requirement: 2 years in ER setting with 1 year of ICU or critical care experience.

ACLS certification.

PALS certification.

Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Physically able to perform duties expected in a busy medical environment (standing, walking, teaching, public speaking, pulling, pushing, lifting, etc.).

Stand and work up to a 12‑hour shift.

Willing to travel between local facilities within a 50‑mile radius for shift coverage.

Legible written English; clear verbal English; proficient reading English.

Bilingual preferred.

RNs employed by or affiliated with medical marijuana clinics are ineligible.

Certifications / Licenses

Active State of Florida RN license.

Travel Up to 30% travel to support clinic operations across the market, including coverage at other clinic locations, trainings, meetings, and other operational needs as they arise.
