ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive communication skills and/or swallowing functions.
Provides goal‑oriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and/or swallowing function potential.
Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a Master of Speech Language Pathology, which satisfies the American Speech Language Pathology (ASHA) certification.
Holds current State of Texas licensure in Speech Language Pathology and possesses a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA.
One to two years of speech therapy experience in an adult setting (long‑term acute care and rehabilitation) is preferred beyond the Clinical Fellowship (CF).
Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS
Must hold a current state Speech Language Pathology license.
BLS certification is required upon hire.
