Float Flight Paramedic – Life Flight Network
Base pay range: $73,000.00/yr - $87,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Flight Nurse to provide advanced critical care to patients. Perform procedures such as oral intubation, administration of paralytic drugs, needle thoracostomy, and intravenous and intraosseous access. Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner, per LFN standards. Assist with patient follow‑up communication to referring hospitals or agencies. Retrieve and return equipment, perform cleaning and restocking of aircraft in service. Conduct inventories, monthly checks, order supplies, and maintain equipment. Support day‑to‑day flight operations and contribute to clinical quality initiatives. Compile statistical data and work on related projects assigned by the Director of Clinical Operations. Safety
Ensure safe aircraft operation and protect patients, crew, and personnel on the scene. Enforce LFN safety policies and assist the pilot with navigation, take‑off, landing, and in‑flight procedures. Business Development
Participate in developing LFN business and operations plans to meet service and financial goals. Promote a positive public image through personal contact with patients, community agencies, and hospitals. Provide flight education to the public when requested. Qualifications & Skills
Minimum five years of paramedic experience, preferably in a large metropolitan area. Current licensure and/or certification: Paramedic; BLS; ACLS; PALS; PHTLS; NRP. Valid driver’s license in Oregon, Idaho, Washington, or Montana with at least three years of driving experience. FP‑C examination within one year of hire; certification within two years. Completion of Department of Transportation Air Medical Curriculum within six months of hire. Weight limit of 250 pounds fully outfitted. Passport or entry to Canada may be required based on location assignment. Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills in high‑stress situations. Ability to work varied shifts, including fixed‑wing call shifts. Seniority level
