What You’ll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using sound judgment and communication skills.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification as required and maintaining awareness of unusual activity.
Assist with access control and visitor management following site‑specific procedures.
Report and document any security‑related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when appropriate during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats and provide reassurance at the location.
Minimum Requirements
Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
