Molding Operator
Location: Huntsville, AL
Competitive Compensation: Starting at $23.07 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour for night shifts. Occasional mandatory overtime may be required as needed.
Shift: Day or Night; 2/2/3 rotating work schedule: 7am‑7pm / 7pm‑7am.

Responsibilities
Remove SMC material from storage containers and prepare it for molding (cutting, stripping poly, folding, and stacking).
Load SMC charges into presses and remove molded parts after processing.
Assist with cleaning mold cavities and deflashing molded parts for next operations.
Transport defective parts to the rework area.
Assemble cartons and packaging components; assist with packaging and accessory assembly as directed.
Follow all plant safety policies and perform assigned housekeeping and 5S duties.
Maintain compliance with all applicable SOPs, LOPs, policies, and procedures.
Perform other related duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications
Must be able to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship.
Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
Must be at least 18 years old.
A minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
Mechanical proficiency and willingness to operate industrial machinery.
Novice computer skills.
Ability to perform SAP production and material movement transactions.
Basic math capability.
Identify and make adjustments to programs.
Be flexible in work hours and shifts – come in early or stay over for needed shift coverage.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Additional Requirements
Physical capability: Ability to perform essential duties, including bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 45‑106 pounds or more. Working conditions include a heavy industrial environment, exposure to heat, cold, dust, and dirt.
Screening: Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
Reliability: Consistent attendance and work performance.
Safety compliance: Follow all safety policies and procedures.
