The role! Position:

Behavioral Clinician

Location:

Wakefield, MA

Pay rate:

$70,000 - $80,000 per year depending upon experience

Hours:

Full-time, 40 hours per week Benefits of Working for us!

4 weeks’ vacation, 1 week sick time, and 12 holidays for new full‑time employees

Summary & Responsibilities As an integral role within Communitas, Inc’s Administrative Department, the Behavioral Clinician works across our Day Program and Residential Divisions providing therapeutic support to Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Traumatic Brain Injury

Conduct functional behavior assessments for adults with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury, and autism spectrum disorder.

Develop and oversee individualized behavior support plans, ensuring they align with ethical standards, DDS, and MassHealth guidelines.

Train and support staff and caregivers in the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Positive Behavior Supports (PBS), and agency‑wide behavioral strategies; collaborate with the Director of Clinical Support Services on group trainings.

Analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and modify plans as needed; participate in the development and review of Individual Service Plans.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those from DDS, DCF, MassHealth, CARF, OQE, and Communitas policies.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, attend team meetings, and maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA and security protocols.

Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Must be a Psychologist, Independent Clinical Social Worker, Applied Behavior Analyst, Master's or Doctorate level Speech Pathologist, Master's or Doctorate level teacher with Certification in Special Education or a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

BCBA preferred

At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with an Intellectual Disability, Developmental Disability or Autism Spectrum Disorder

A passion and dedication to supporting our people is a must
