Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Fabrication Operator to join our team in Jackson, United States. As a Fabrication Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, operating various fabrication equipment and ensuring the production of high-quality components.
Operate and maintain fabrication machinery and equipment, including cutting, bending, and welding tools
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to produce parts according to specifications
Set up machines and adjust settings for optimal performance and precision
Perform quality checks on fabricated parts to ensure they meet required standards
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
Assist in inventory management of materials and supplies
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or fabrication
Proficiency in operating fabrication machinery and equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to safety protocols
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Vocational training in manufacturing or fabrication is preferred
Familiarity with manufacturing industry practices is a plus
