Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal Admin Office Assistant to join our team at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting management with employee check-in, new hire orientations, and general clerical duties to help the organization run efficiently.
Pay $18.00 - $20.00 / hour

What will you do?
Assist our Concessions Team with checking in staff members and handing out uninforms on game days
Perform routine clerical duties including making copies, printing out game day reports, and answering phone calls
Assist with scheduling new team members for their orientation date
Assist in completing weekly payroll for Concessions
Support completion of daily sales packets for Concessions
Support new hire training and ServSafe certification training
Assist with our rewards and recognition programs by observing staff members and service during events
Follow‑up review of uniformity and identification credentials
Assist in completion of new hire set‑up and onboarding sessions
Support Department Manager Pre‑Shift Meetings

More About You
Must have a high school diploma. Some college preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative or office position
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
Must have experience with Microsoft Office 356 and be able to create spreadsheets
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Must be able to communicate effectively with management and staff members
