As a Bank Branch Teller at Community Savings, you will be the face of our branch, providing exceptional customer service and performing a range of financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency. You will assist customers with their banking needs, handle cash and checks, and ensure a positive experience at our branch. This position is currently offered at part-time hours, with a minimum of 25 hrs. per week.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly, address their inquiries and provide information about banking products and services. Ensure a positive and professional customer experience at all times.
Perform a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing. Accurately handle and balance cash drawers.
Assist customers with account-related issues, including account openings, closings, and updates. Provide information about account balances, statements, and transactions.
Adhere to all banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure the security and confidentiality of customer information. Report any suspicious activity or security concerns to the Branch Manager.
Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally. Escalate complex issues to the Branch Manager when necessary.
Promote and cross-sell bank products and services that meet customer needs, such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions. Ensure proper documentation and filing in accordance with bank policies.
Work closely with other tellers and branch staff to achieve branch goals and support overall team performance.
Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Previous experience in banking, retail, or customer service roles preferred.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in basic mathematics and handling cash.
Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Familiarity with banking software and systems is a plus.
