Position Summary

Murphy Machine Products (MMP), a Delva Tool & Machine (DTM) company, is seeking a

CNC Swiss Setup Technician for our

Wood Dale, IL location . The

CNC Swiss Setup Technician

plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and accurate production of precision parts. This position requires a strong understanding of CNC Swiss machines, a commitment to quality, and exceptional troubleshooting skills. The primary responsibility is to set up and operate CNC Swiss machines to produce high-quality parts that meet or exceed customer specifications.

This position works a schedule of Monday thru Thursday from 6:00am-4:30pm (OR) Monday thru Friday from 6:00am-2:30pm. The pay range for this role is between $26.00-$32.00/hr. depending on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Setup CNC Swiss following SMED processes. (STAR SR20RII, SR20RIII, SR20J, SR32J, SR38 and CITIZEN M32)

Troubleshoot machine and program issues.

Update work instructions to current tooling.

Produce and measure parts per blueprint following Quality Plans.

Work with operators when handing off machine.

Ensure a safe work environment is maintained, appropriate safety systems/processes are utilized, and ensure compliance with all OSHA and other state/federal safety and environmental related rules and regulations.

Assist with other duties as assigned.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

Proven experience in CNC Swiss machine setup and operation.

Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine controls.

Proficiency in using measuring instruments and quality control techniques.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
