Industrial Maintenance Technician – Shift 3

Shift Sunday – Friday, 10 PM – 6:30 AM (and overtime/rotating weekends as needed)
Summary Responsible for making electrical, plumbing, and general repairs to buildings, and troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery and equipment throughout the facility.
Core Functions
Diagnose and remedy electrical or electronic troubles and replace equipment as needed.
Conduct fabrication maintenance.
Operate a forklift (must obtain license).
Cut and join metal parts using a variety of techniques.
Weld and cut all types of material using electric arc, oxy‑acetylene, or other welding techniques in horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
Maintain tools and furnish personal tools to function properly.
Enter equipment records, data, and notes into a computerized maintenance management system.
Read drawings, troubleshoot, and make repairs independently.
Key Measures of Success
Read a tape measure, perform basic math, and use a calculator.
Learn production operations.
Functionally (and safely) troubleshoot and repair AC/DC controls, devices, and machines; knowledge of CNC controls, AC & DC drives.
Use and interpret technical drawings, prints, and schematics.

Minimum Required
High school diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years of related experience.
Fabrication, maintenance, joining, and cutting of ferrous and nonferrous metal parts using various techniques.
Experience welding and cutting all types of material using electric arc, oxy‑acetylene, or other techniques in horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
Physical Demands & Work Environment The job requires frequent walking, standing, and lifting up to 55 lbs. Work is conducted around machinery with moving parts, in a non‑temperature‑controlled environment, and may involve exposure to outside weather. Hands and arms are used for reaching, pulling, pushing, and grabbing; kneeling, crouching, twisting, and bending are common.
Travel Ability to work at other facilities, at weekends, on other shifts, and to be on call.
